Thirty solid wooden cubes in a wooden tray. Each face is painted differently to promote learning.  So for example, they feature the   alphabet, both in upper and lower case, pictures representing the letters (apple for a, bird for b,...), numbers (0-9) and mathematical symbols (+, -, =). Really well thought out.

Beautifully decorated board with seven colourful cogs. The cogs come in two sizes so there is a bit of interchangeability but the big ones, at least, are colour-coded.  It's fascinating watching how turning one cog turns them all - appeals to the curious child in me.  From an engineering point of view, please be aware that the cogs, being wood, don't always turn perfectly smoothly as plastic or metal ones would. Our demo one can stick a bit especially if someone has switched the cogs around.
